Tao

Established in 2014, Tao is the pioneer of Pan Asian Cuisine in Karachi. Serving the best of contemporary Pan-Asian cuisine with the spin of various cooking techniques; their menu offers a wide variety of Sushi and other classic dishes drawn from Malaysian, Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisines.

Problem statement:

The brand came to us in August 2021 because they were facing issues with brand recall and connecting with the old customers as well as visibility to attract new customers. Apart from some operational issues, their delivery packaging and overall branding lacked synchronization that hampered their customer’s experience. Resulting in dwindling brand image, low sales and traffic. They wanted our help to elevate the brand’s position in the market, launch their new location and create hype for it.

Strategy & execution:

For the launch we decided to go all out and give the brand a 360° makeover to upscale its digital presence in order to position it as one of the best Pan Asian Cuisine restaurants in Karachi. Our strategy was focused around selling the new and fresh experience Tao had to offer from their picturesque ambiance to their live Sushi Station. To achieve this, we leveraged consistent social media posting, performance marketing, influencer marketing, community marketing to elevate the brand’s image and increase visibility.
